THE PHOTO SESSION STEP BY STEP
To help you better understand what to expect, I’ve summarised the process from booking your session all the way to receiving your final images. If anything feels unclear or you have any questions along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out – I’ll be happy to help! 🤍
1: Select package, place order
- Once you have browsed through the portfolio and you are interested in a similar shoot, you will find the current photography packages to choose from under “Packages, prices“.
- Once you’ve chosen the one that suits you best, you can book your session in one of the following ways:
- By filling out the contact form – this will send your message directly to my inbox.
- By sending me an email at contact@thedogphoto.com.
- By calling me on +44 7443 280472.

2: Planning your session
- Before the session, we’ll discuss all the important details together. My goal is to tailor the experience to your ideas and your dog’s needs.
- Whether you already have a clear vision in mind or you’d prefer to leave everything to me, I’ll make sure the session is relaxed, fun, and thoughtfully planned.
- To help me create the best possible experience for your dog, I’ll ask a few things – like what they’re like, what environments they feel comfortable in, and anything else you think I should know.
- I’ll also send you a little prep guide with tips on how to get ready for the session and what to expect.
3: Editing the photos
- After the shoot, I’ll begin carefully editing your images. You can expect to receive the final photos within three weeks of the session.
- To give each image the care and attention it deserves, I kindly ask for your patience – especially as some sessions may require the full timeframe. If you’ll need the images sooner, just let me know ahead of time and we’ll find a solution together.
- My editing process mainly includes colour and light adjustments to bring out the best in your photos. I do not apply unrealistic or artificial edits to pets or people – I believe in capturing natural beauty as it is.
4: Delivering your photos
- I do not deliver unedited (RAW) images – you’ll receive a carefully curated selection of fully edited photographs, delivered via a private online gallery.
- You’ll get the gallery link by email, and your photos will be available to download for one week.
- All images will be in .jpg format, and you’ll receive two sizes of each photo:
-a high-resolution version for printing,
-and a web-optimised version for easy sharing on platforms like Instagram or Facebook.
